Symptoms:-
One may feel sick for 1 to 14 days prior to developing symptoms like fever, tiredness & dry cough etc.

- Cover your nose and mouth with a disposable tissue or flexed elbow when you cough or sneeze.
- In case of any symptoms you experience,consult your nearest physician/health expert.
Try to get Home quarantine/self isolation.
Don't:Touch your eyes, nose, or mouth if your hands are not clean.

Prevention measures taken by the Indian government:-
The prime minister 'Shri Narendra Modi' is personally monitoring the preparedness and response on a regular basis and a Group of Ministers (specifically the Health Ministry)has been constituted to monitor the situation.
On 22 March 2020, India observed a 14-hour voluntary public curfew(Janta curfew) at the instance of the prime minister Narendra Modi. The government followed it up with lockdowns in 75 districts where COVID cases had occurred as well as all major cities. Further, on 24 March, the prime minister ordered a nationwide lockdown for 21 days, affecting the entire 1.3 billion population of India,the necessary facilities like Health centres, the daily needs (milk, vegetables, medicines etc), Bank,ATMs and the emergency services (fire brigades, ambulances etc).
The World Health Organisation executive director Michael Ryan said that India had "tremendous capacity" to deal with the coronavirus outbreak and, as the second most populous country, will have enormous impact on the world's ability to deal with it.
